The 2nd Annual G5 Gives Back Gala was held on November 11, 2023 in Peachtree City, Ga. This unique fundraising event raised $5,000, directly benefiting local Atlanta families living in poverty and facing temporary hardships! It is our organization's goal to assist deserving families in becoming self sufficient. Some of the ways we assist families include rental/mortgage assistance, utility bill payments, household and personal items. Depending on funds available, we may sometimes assist with items from holiday wishlist. The assistance provided to these familes currently come from funds raised online via social media, our website and through our unique fundraising events!
This years gala was definitely a night to remember with music by DJPT8, special guest performaces by Atlanta's own F.L.Y. performing their debut single "Swag Surfin", and a live band set from the Band of Destiny. With the evening being led by Party Pip, the night was full of life, positive energy, unity and fun; without losing focus on the mission we all came together to support. Spirit & Soul Mobile Bartending kept the drinks flowing -responisbly, of course! Chef Live From the Kitchen had the Hors d'oeuvres on rotation, Coat Chix secured personal belongings, and A-Town Authentics covered our silent auction items!
Dr. Miles Fuller, Mr. Mark Carroll, Mr. Adrias Hale, and Mrs. Kelena Jackson (Korri Jackson) were all 2023 G5 Gives Back Honorees! Each of these individuals received a token of our appreciation at this year's gala.
